Even if u don't believe in God or u believe in serval I still think this has a point for all to take to heart.
THE BRICK
A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared .. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, "What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?" The young boy was apologetic. "Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do," He pleaded. "I threw the brick because no one else would stop..." With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. "It's my brother, "he said. "He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up."
Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, "Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me.."
Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay. "Thank you and may God bless you," the grateful child told the stranger. Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy! push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home.
It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message: "Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!" God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice to listen or not.

Well the con was a blast! Everyone had fun and I perked-up Friday night ^^. Micheal was ravaged by fans lol which I belived he loved, so he has unoficaly oficaly became Bandit Keath (dont kill me BK fans b/c I can't spell his name ><). I found out that purple eye shower looks realy good on me, go figur I never thought it would, wich is great b/c purple is my fav color ;p. Gret got prased for a great skit and got mauled by ravaging fans as well ^^ wile she was Bakura. Josh and John got to go wild with there pic's (I dont think I'll be posting all of thoese^^;) John got to creep people out when we hit a Walmart run in his Org IX costume and got compled on it from the door greater,lol. Josh (no suprise)whent every where again w/o a bage, he got skills^^;. Anothey had a blast at the Habich grill, the cook did put on a GREAT show, and was able to get a sword for his wall. Not to mechen that he now wants to cosplay (we have created another little monster lol), he is looking forward to the next con. Liz was reconeized and praised for her costume even though her prop broke but the pic's turned out great. And the best part.... NO DRAMA!!! Yea! |

Hello to all out there I live! I'm FINLY getting over my head cold i got from ikki-con. ~grrrr!~ Whysper is still sick but thats no suprise. Still watching HxH and i'm going to be looking for green fab soon b/c all the green is comming out for St. Patric (cant spell) day. Do I HAVE to mave them THAT short??? *cry* We'll be bilding a fence so we can have a dog free bathroom soon, yea! Pinesoil works wonders but still, its so hard to soke in a bath when Macy is trying to lick ur face and JoJo look like she about to jump in -_-. Work is getting better and its going good for mich, he'll be made into a manger soon, good. Oh yea, Mich wants to go see Gostrider(i think i spelled it right) Monday after work, did anyone want to come with us? We could go see it in BR ^_^ if its this Monday ur down Ami-chan. Oh well I work in hammond to day so I better get ready. Hope you all have a good day. |

Ok now i'll be looking to do that dam tiger.... Miss Gret do u have the manga or some scan's of him? I know the color schem and i have a good idear on what i'm making it out of but i dont know what his outfit looks like off the top of my head. And yes I'm still doing Gon. -_~
As for as Mr. Tiger is conserened he may not get done intill next year, i'm trying to get a car. Hope all is fine, i'm sick, i think it had to do with the hot cold then hot again for the skit, but other than that i'm ok. Gret when do u want ur sewing mashine? Oh btw my days off r now sunday and monday -_- b/c crew bitch about me and john having weekends off. I'll still get to go to cons though. YAA! |

i got this from ramna-chan and i though it was sound advice so i'm posting it here. Some of it is commond since but some of it was new news. i'm open to any more tips and any oppoins on this.

Safety tips for Women!!
We can now add to the list of victims the retired 77 yr. old TCU professor from Ft Worth whose body was found last week in Oklahoma--and the 11 yr. old in Sarasota, FL. Because of these recent abductions in daylight hours, refresh yourself of these things to do in an emergency situation...This is for you, and for you to share with your wife, your children, everyone you know.
After reading these 9 crucial tips , let someone you care about know. It never hurts to be careful in this crazy world we live in.
1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do : The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do!
2. Learned this from a tourist guide in New Orleans . If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM Toss it away from
you....chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you, and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car, kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won't see you, but everybody else will. This has saved lives.
4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON'T DO THIS!) The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a gun to your head,
and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR, LOCK THE DOORS
AND LEAVE.
a. If someone is in the car with a gun to your head DO NOT DRIVE OFF,
repeat: DO NOT DRIVE OFF! Instead gun the engine and speed into anything,
wrecking the car. Your Air Bag will save you. If the person is in the back
seat they will get the worst of it. As soon as the car crashes bail out and
run. It is better than having them find your body in a remote location.
5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:
A.) Be aware: look around you, look into your car, at the passenger side floor, and in the back seat.
B.) If you are parked next t to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.
C.) Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out.
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)
6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot. This is especially true at NIGHT!)
7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN!
The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; And even
then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN, Preferably ! in a zig
-zag pattern!
8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP It may get you
raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well
educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He
walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked "for help" into his vehicle
or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.

9. Another Safety Point: Someone just told me that her friend heard a crying
baby on her porch the night before last, and she called the police because
it was late and she thought it was weird. The police told her "Whatever you
do, DO NOT open the door."
The lady then said that it sounded like the baby had crawled near a window,
and she was worried that it would crawl to the street and get run over. The
policeman said, "We already have a unit on the way, whatever you do, DO NOT
open the door." He told her that they think a serial killer has a baby's cry
recorded and uses it to coax women out of their homes thinking that someone
dropped off a baby. He said they have not verified it, but have had several
calls by women saying that they hear baby's cries outside their doors when
they're home alone at night.
Please pass this on and DO NOT open the door for a crying baby ----This
e-mail should probably be taken seriously because the Crying Baby theory was
mentioned on America 's Most Wanted this past Saturday when they profiled the
serial killer in Louisiana.
I'd like you to forward this to all the women you know. It may save a life.
A candle is not dimmed by lighting another candle. I was going to send this
to the ladies only, but guys, if you love your mothers, wives, sisters,
daughters, etc., you may want to pass it onto them, as well.
Send this to any woman you know that may need to be reminded that the world
we live in has a lot of crazies in it and it's better to be safe than sorry.

Yea! I got a new job! I now work with my husband and my brother. Sorry for not typing sooner but a lot of stuff was going on. Not good stuff. >.<
When is the play and how much is it again? I'm trying to stay on top of things(key word is try). Hopefully with this new job, which is a set schedule, i'll be able to c more of u guys.
Work schedule is Sun-Thurs is 12pm-7pm. I'm off Friday and Saturday.
So now u know when i'm free and when u can call. ^^ |
